I specialize in prenatal/postpartum rehab & wellness, pain free functional movement, targeted therapeutic body work, and vestibular/balance rehabilitation.

For the new mamas with your adorable Little, I focus on rehabilitating your core & pelvic floor. I start with very simple but effective exercises that will help you get you back on your feet in order to care for your new little human. I offer in-home services to help accommodate your new mama schedule. Click on Postpartum for more information.
In addition to helping mama, I teach hands-on techniques to help facilitate your baby's motor development. We start with maximizing tummy-time & rolling, and advance to sitting up, crawling and standing as baby grows. Some of this will be "educated play" and some will be incorporated into your own home work out exercises.
And by the way, the postpartum period is not just the first few months after having a baby. I consider anyone who's ever had a baby to be postpartum. After a baby, our bodies have been altered, our posture has been compromised, and it's like we've never quite caught up. There are awkward pieces of baby equipment to lug around. There are heavy toddlers (and older!) who demand "Uppies uppies!" or just flat out stop walking in the middle of the sidewalk. There are sleepless nights that affect our entire wellness and physical state. Postpartum wellness is more than just fitting back into your best skinny jeans.
